Banana Pi OpenWrt One Wi-Fi 6 Router with MediaTek Filogic 820, 2.5GbE, NVMe and Official OpenWrt Support

The Banana Pi OpenWrt One Euro Standard is an open-source router and development platform designed in collaboration with the OpenWrt community. Also known as OpenWrt One/AP-24.XY, it is based on the MediaTek MT7981B Filogic 820 SoC with a dual-core Arm Cortex-A53 processor running at up to 1.3 GHz. The board combines 1 GB DDR4 RAM, dual-band Wi-Fi 6, 2.5GbE WAN, Gigabit Ethernet LAN, and expandable NVMe storage, making it suitable for OpenWrt development, home networking, IoT projects, and compact NAS applications.

Wireless connectivity is provided through the MediaTek MT7976C chipset with 2 x 2 operation on 2.4 GHz and 3 x 3 operation on 5 GHz. The board uses 256 MiB SPI-NAND together with 16 MiB SPI-NOR protected storage, providing a dual-storage architecture designed to improve system recovery and reduce the risk of permanently bricking the device. An M.2 2230/2242 socket with PCIe 2.0 x1 supports compatible NVMe SSDs, while USB 2.0 Type-A, RTC support, PoE capability, and a mikroBUS expansion socket provide additional flexibility for networking and embedded development.
