The package combines the Banana Pi BPI-R4 router board with a BE14 Wi-Fi 7 module, metal enclosure, cooling fan, heat sink, antennas, network cable, and 12 V 5 A power adapter, reducing the additional hardware required to assemble a complete router platform.
At the core of the system is the MediaTek MT7988A Filogic 880 network processor with a quad-core Arm Cortex-A73 CPU running at up to 1.8 GHz. This configuration includes 4 GB DDR4 memory, 8 GB eMMC storage, and 128 MB SPI-NAND Flash. High-speed networking is provided through 2 x 10GbE SFP interfaces and 4 x Gigabit Ethernet ports, while M.2 and miniPCIe expansion supports NVMe storage, cellular connectivity, and Wi-Fi networking.
