The M5Stack Stopwatch Dev Kit is a compact round development platform designed for portable smart devices, wearable interfaces, and lightweight IoT terminals. Powered by the ESP32-S3R8 controller, it combines 16 MB Flash and 8 MB PSRAM with 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi connectivity for responsive embedded applications and wireless communication. Its 1.75-inch round AMOLED touchscreen provides a high-quality visual interface, while 2 programmable buttons, a dedicated power button and built-in vibration feedback support intuitive human-machine interaction.
For sensing and multimedia applications, the Stopwatch integrates a BMI270 6-axis IMU, ES8311 audio codec, MEMS microphone, AW8737A speaker amplifier, and a 1 W at 8 Ohm speaker. An RX8130CE RTC provides dedicated timekeeping, while HY2.0-4P and rear expansion buses allow compatible sensors and external hardware to be added. The integrated M5PM1 multi-level power-management system and 450 mAh battery support portable operation, while rear magnetic attachment and a lanyard hole provide flexible mounting and carrying options.
