The 7Semi Buck Converter Module is a compact synchronous DC-DC step-down regulator designed to provide a fixed 3.8V output from input supplies ranging from 5V to 40V DC. It supports output loads up to 600mA, making it suitable for low-voltage embedded electronics, communication modules, sensors, battery-powered systems, IoT devices, and other circuits requiring a regulated 3.8V supply.
The synchronous conversion architecture integrates high-side and low-side power MOSFETs, eliminating the need for an external catch diode and reducing external component requirements. A 2MHz switching frequency supports a compact power-stage design, while Pulse-Frequency Modulation (PFM) helps improve efficiency under light-load conditions.
