The 7Semi Buck Converter Module is a compact synchronous DC-DC step-down regulator designed to generate a fixed 3.3V output from input supplies ranging from 4.5V to 40V DC. It supports loads up to 600mA, making it suitable for powering 3.3V sensors, microcontrollers, communication modules, IoT electronics, and other low-voltage circuits from higher-voltage DC supplies.
The synchronous step-down architecture integrates high-side and low-side power MOSFETs, eliminating the need for an external catch diode while reducing external component requirements. A 2MHz switching frequency enables a compact power-stage design, while Pulse-Frequency Modulation (PFM) supports efficient operation under light-load conditions.
