The 7Semi Buck Converter Module is a compact synchronous DC-DC step-down regulator designed to provide a fixed 12V output from input supplies ranging from 15V to 40V DC. It supports output loads up to 600mA, making it suitable for 12V sensors, communication circuits, embedded electronics, industrial control systems, and other low-power loads operating from higher-voltage DC rails.
The synchronous conversion architecture integrates high-side and low-side power MOSFETs, eliminating the need for an external catch diode and reducing external component requirements. A 2MHz switching frequency supports a compact module footprint, while Pulse-Frequency Modulation (PFM) helps maintain efficiency during light-load operation.
