NB One 32-Bit Flight Controller with 6-Axis Gyro and Barometric Altitude Hold for FPV RC Fixed-Wing Aircraft - Self-Stabilising, Manual, and Altitude Hold Modes for Beginner and Experienced Pilots
The NB One is a 32-bit fixed-wing flight controller built around a high-precision barometric pressure sensor and a 6-axis MEMS sensor suite, providing self-stabilising attitude correction, barometric altitude hold, and manual flight mode capability in a compact, lightweight package purpose-designed for FPV RC fixed-wing aircraft. As the base model in the NB One series, it shares the core 32-bit processor, 6-axis sensor, and barometric altitude hold architecture of the NB One+ while offering a straightforward, accessible entry point for fixed-wing pilots whose build requirements do not extend to GPS module integration or the expanded wing-type and receiver protocol coverage of the Plus variant. The 32-bit processor provides the computation headroom required for simultaneous barometric altitude sensing and 6-axis attitude stabilisation, delivering more reliable and responsive stabilisation performance than 8-bit fixed-wing controllers in the same size and weight class.
The barometric altitude hold mode is the defining operational feature of the NB One for both beginner and experienced fixed-wing pilots. Using the onboard high-precision barometer to measure and maintain a target altitude independent of GPS signal availability, the altitude hold mode releases the pilot from continuous throttle management during cruise phases and provides a stable, consistent flight altitude reference in environments where GPS altitude hold would be unreliable or unavailable. For beginner pilots in particular, the combination of self-stabilising mode attitude correction and barometric altitude hold significantly reduces the simultaneous control inputs required to maintain safe, controlled flight, lowering the skill threshold for first fixed-wing solo flights. PPM, PCM, and 2.4GHz receiver compatibility ensures straightforward integration with the broad range of RC transmitter and receiver systems in active use across the hobby market without requiring protocol converters or receiver replacements in existing builds.
