Description

A3 V2 3-Axis Gyro Flight Controller Stabilizer for RC Fixed-Wing Airplane and Copter - 4 Flight Modes, 3 Wing Types, HV Receiver Support, and One-Key Rescue for Beginner and Experienced Pilots

The A3 V2 is a 3-axis gyroscope and accelerometer flight controller stabilizer designed for RC fixed-wing aircraft and copter platforms, combining attitude stabilization, automatic levelling, and one-key emergency rescue functionality in a compact metal-housed 43 x 27mm unit weighing 11 grams. Built around a gyroscope rated at plus or minus 2000dps and an accelerometer rated at plus or minus 4g, the A3 V2 provides the sensor resolution and dynamic range required for responsive attitude correction across the full flight envelope of fixed-wing aircraft, from slow-speed stabilized training flights through to higher-speed aerobatic and delta-wing configurations. The wide 5-7.4V input voltage range and explicit HV (7.4V) receiver and steering motor support allow the A3 V2 to be integrated directly into high-voltage receiver systems without a separate voltage regulator or BEC, thereby expanding compatibility with modern HV servo and receiver setups common in mid-to-large-scale fixed-wing builds.

The A3 V2 supports 3 wing configuration types - standard, Delta-wing (flying wing), and V-tail - covering the majority of RC fixed-wing airframe geometries in active use, with the appropriate control surface mixing and stabilization axis assignment handled internally by the flight controller for each selected wing type without requiring external mixer modules or transmitter-side mixing configuration. Four flight modes covering Normal, Automatic-Balance, Auto-Hover, and Turn modes provide a graduated assistance framework from fully pilot-directed flight through to fully stabilized attitude hold, with one-key rescue and one-key crane functions providing immediate emergency attitude recovery at the press of a dedicated transmitter button. Remote total sensitivity control allows the pilot to adjust overall gyro gain from the transmitter during flight without landing, and independent adjustment of common sensitivity, self-stabilizing gain, and crane sensitivity gives experienced pilots precise control over each stabilization axis parameter. Three selectable servo operating frequencies of 50Hz, 125Hz, and 250Hz ensure compatibility with both standard analogue servos and higher-frequency digital servo setups across different airframe builds.

Key Features

  • 3-Axis Stabilization: Gyroscope and accelerometer-based 3-axis attitude sensing and correction for roll, pitch, and yaw stabilization on fixed-wing and copter platforms
  • Gyroscope Rating: Plus or minus 2000dps for responsive attitude measurement across the full dynamic range of RC fixed-wing flight manoeuvres
  • Accelerometer Rating: Plus or minus 4g for accurate acceleration sensing, supporting automatic levelling and attitude hold functions
  • 4 Flight Modes: Normal, Automatic-Balance, Auto-Hover, and Turn modes for graduated pilot assistance from fully manual to fully stabilized flight
  • One-Key Rescue Function: Immediate emergency attitude recovery at the press of a dedicated transmitter button for rapid aircraft recovery from unusual attitudes
  • One-Key Crane Function: Dedicated crane mode activation for aerial lift and precision hover applications
  • Automatic Crane Function: Automatic crane engagement for sustained precision attitude hold without continuous pilot input
  • 3 Wing Type Support: Standard, Delta-wing (flying wing), and V-tail configurations with internal control surface mixing and axis assignment per selected wing type
  • Remote Total Sensitivity Control: In-flight overall gyro gain adjustment from the transmitter without landing for real-time stabilization tuning
  • Independent Sensitivity Adjustment: Separate adjustment of common sensitivity, self-stabilizing gain, and crane sensitivity for precise per-axis parameter control
  • 3 Servo Frequencies: 50Hz, 125Hz, and 250Hz selectable servo operating frequencies for standard analogue and high-frequency digital servo compatibility
  • HV Receiver Support: Direct 7.4V HV receiver and steering motor compatibility without a separate regulator or BEC in the HV receiver system builds
  • Input Voltage Range: 5-7.4V for flexible power supply integration across standard and HV fixed-wing receiver and power system configurations
  • Rocker Centre Auto-Calibration: Automatic transmitter stick centre calibration for accurate neutral position reference across different transmitter setups
  • Metal Housing: Metal enclosure construction for structural rigidity and durability in fixed-wing and copter airframe installations
  • Compact and Lightweight: 43 x 27mm footprint and 11g weight for minimal airframe space and payload impact

Applications

  • Beginner RC fixed-wing pilots requiring automatic attitude levelling and one-key rescue emergency recovery assistance during initial flight training
  • Standard, delta-wing (flying wing), and V-tail RC fixed-wing airframe builds requiring internal wing-type mixing and 3-axis gyro stabilisation
  • HV receiver and servo system fixed-wing builds requiring a 7.4V-compatible gyro stabilizer without a separate BEC or voltage regulator
  • Experienced RC pilots requiring independent per-axis sensitivity tuning and remote in-flight gain adjustment for precision stabilization configuration
  • RC fixed-wing and copter platforms requiring selectable 50Hz, 125Hz, or 250Hz servo frequency output for analogue and digital servo compatibility
  • Aerial lift, crane, and precision hover RC applications requiring one-key crane activation and automatic crane attitude hold functionality.
