The FMS Reflex V3 is a gyro-based flight controller and stabilizer system designed for RC fixed-wing aircraft, providing a 3-mode flight assistance framework that serves both absolute beginners requiring full attitude correction support and experienced pilots who want wind-disturbance rejection without sacrificing manual control authority. The Reflex V3 functions as an onboard co-pilot, actively monitoring and correcting the aircraft's attitude in real time through solid-state gyroscopes, reducing the skill barrier for new RC fixed-wing pilots while simultaneously improving flight consistency and wind resilience for experienced flyers operating small or lightweight airframes that are inherently susceptible to crosswind and gust disturbance. The 3 available flight modes - Stabilized, Optimized, and Manual - are selected through a 2-position or 3-position switch on the transmitter, giving the pilot direct in-flight mode switching without landing or ground intervention.
Beyond its native compatibility with FMS model aircraft, the Reflex V3 is designed for broad RC aircraft brand compatibility, integrating with a wide range of non-FMS fixed-wing platforms to extend gyro stabilization capability across the pilot's existing fleet without requiring FMS-branded airframes. Integrated Bluetooth connectivity allows the Reflex V3 to connect to a companion mobile app after power-up, enabling wireless parameter configuration of stabilization gain, control surface sensitivity, and mode behaviour from a smartphone without physical access to the flight controller board during setup. This Bluetooth-based parameter adjustment system replaces the manual stick-programming and trim procedures common in earlier generation gyro stabilizers, giving pilots a more intuitive and repeatable configuration process tailored to the specific airframe, flying style, and environmental conditions of each flight session. The middle position of a 3-position switch defaults to Manual mode, ensuring that pilots always have a known reference point for switching between assisted and fully manual flight during operation.
