The M5Stack U031-B Unit RFID2 is a compact 13.56 MHz RFID read/write module designed for identification, authentication, access control, and data-recording applications. It integrates the WS1850S RFID controller and supports ISO/IEC 14443 Type A and Type B standards, allowing compatible RFID cards and tags, including MIFARE and NTAG series devices, to be detected and accessed.

The module communicates with M5Stack controllers through an I2C interface at address 0x28 and provides a read/write distance of less than 20 mm under suitable operating conditions. A HY2.0-4P Grove connector simplifies host integration, while two LEGO-compatible mounting holes allow the module to be installed in prototypes, enclosures, and structural assemblies. Support for UiFlow1, UiFlow2, and Arduino IDE makes it suitable for both rapid prototyping and embedded RFID applications.
