The M5Stack U180 Unit Weight-I2C is a compact weighing-acquisition transmitter designed for interfacing external strain-gauge load cells with M5Stack controllers. It combines an HX711 24-bit analogue-to-digital converter with an STM32F030F4P6 32-bit microcontroller, converting low-level load-cell measurements into weight data that can be accessed through a standard I2C interface.

Unlike direct HX711 modules that require dedicated clock and data GPIOs, Unit Weight-I2C provides an I2C interface with a default address of 0x26 and supports address configuration for multi-device operation on the same bus. Software functions support calibration, tare/offset reset, averaging, EMA filtering, and low-pass filtering for practical weighing applications. The measurement range depends on the connected strain-gauge/load-cell sensor, allowing the unit to be adapted to weighing systems with different capacities.
