The M5Stack U055 Speaker HAT is a compact audio-output module designed for M5StickC series controllers. It integrates the PAM8303 single-channel Class-D audio power amplifier and an onboard speaker, providing a convenient way to add sound output to embedded projects. With up to 3 W output power at a 5 V supply and 4 Ohm load, the module is suitable for voice prompts, alarms, notification tones, and other compact audio applications.

The PAM8303 amplifier provides high PSRR and a differential-input architecture to help reduce power-supply noise and RF interference during audio playback. The module operates from 2.8 V to 5.5 V and features ultra-low EMI performance, specified at 20 dB better than the FCC Class B limit at 300 MHz. Built-in short-circuit protection and low idle noise further support reliable integration into portable, IoT, and interactive M5StickC projects.
