The M5Stack C008 Atom-Lite is a compact ESP32-PICO-D4 development board designed for embedded smart-hardware, IoT nodes, wearable devices, automation, and wireless-control applications. Its ESP32-PICO-D4 integrates a 32-bit dual-core Xtensa LX6 processor operating at up to 240 MHz, together with 520 KB SRAM and 4 MB SPI flash. The board provides 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Bluetooth LE connectivity while maintaining a compact 24 x 24 x 9.5 mm form factor suitable for space-constrained projects.

Atom-Lite combines essential development features including a programmable RGB LED, user button, infrared transmitter, Grove HY2.0-4P interface, exposed GPIO pins, and USB Type-C connectivity for programming and power. The built-in 2.4 GHz 3D antenna reduces the need for an external antenna, while the Grove interface supports I2C, UART, and general-purpose I-O expansion. Support for UIFlow1, UIFlow2, Arduino IDE, ESP-IDF, and PlatformIO makes the board well-suited for rapid prototyping as well as customised embedded-system development.
