The Gravity 10 DOF IMU AHRS Sensor Module combines the Bosch BNO055 intelligent 9-axis absolute orientation sensor with the BMP280 barometric pressure sensor into a single compact board for advanced motion-tracking and environmental-sensing applications. The BNO055 integrates a 14-bit triaxial accelerometer, 16-bit triaxial gyroscope, triaxial geomagnetic sensor, and an onboard 32-bit microcontroller that performs real-time sensor fusion. This enables the module to directly output processed orientation data, such as quaternions, Euler angles, and motion vectors, without requiring complex algorithm development on the host controller.
The integrated BMP280 sensor provides precise barometric pressure and temperature measurements, enabling altitude estimation and environmental monitoring. With its Gravity I2C interface, the module simplifies integration with Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi, and other development platforms.
