Digital 3-Axis Accelerometer Sensor with High-Resolution Motion And Tilt Detection Capability

The Fermion ADXL345 Digital Triaxial Acceleration Sensor Breakout is a compact, low-power 3-axis accelerometer module designed for precise motion sensing, tilt measurement, vibration monitoring, and orientation detection applications. Based on the Analog Devices ADXL345 sensor, the module provides high-resolution 13-bit acceleration measurements with selectable ranges up to +/-16g. The sensor delivers digital output through both I2C and SPI interfaces, making it easy to integrate with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, ESP32, and other embedded platforms.

The ADXL345 is capable of measuring both static acceleration caused by gravity and dynamic acceleration resulting from movement, shock, or vibration. Advanced built-in functions such as activity detection, inactivity detection, tap sensing, double-tap recognition, and free-fall detection simplify application development by reducing software processing requirements. An integrated 32-level FIFO buffer minimizes host processor intervention, while low-power operating modes make the sensor ideal for battery-powered and wearable devices.
