The DYP-A01C is an IP67-rated, integrated ultrasonic distance sensor that measures from 28 cm to 250 cm with mm-level resolution. It works at 40 kHz and uses a waterproof ultrasonic transducer with a dedicated extended horn, which gives a long, narrow detection zone for larger-range requirements. A high-performance processor, internal temperature compensation and firmware filtering keep readings stable from -15 deg C to +60 deg C. The average current draw is 10 mA and the standby current is below 10 uA, so it suits battery-powered and always-on devices.

The A01C series is tuned for waste bin level monitoring. Its dedicated algorithm filters out bin borders and interfering objects, so overflow status is measured accurately instead of being skewed by walls or lids. UART auto, UART controlled and RS485 output options let you connect it to microcontrollers, industrial gateways and IoT nodes. The module is small, lightweight, CE and RoHS compliant, and well-suited to smart-city bins, smart parking systems and slow-moving-target detection.
