Description
The A01NYUB Waterproof Ultrasonic Sensor utilizes ultrasonic pulses to accurately measure the distance to a target. By calculating the time it takes for the pulse to travel from the sensor to the target and back, the sensor determines the precise distance. This particular sensor offers enhanced capabilities, including an extended monitoring distance, a broader detection range, and the ability to penetrate through obstacles like smog and dust. Additionally, the sensor comes equipped with a removable bell-mouth attachment, which allows for effective measuring distances of up to 7.5m when installed.
The ultrasonic sensor features a closed probe design with separate transmitter and receiver units, ensuring waterproof and dustproof functionality. The module incorporates all the necessary signal processing units internally, allowing users to directly access distance values through the Asynchronous Serial Interface. Operating at a baud rate of 9600 bits per second, the sensor enables seamless communication with upper-host devices or other microcontroller units (MCUs), significantly reducing the development time for users.
