Description

The SparkFun LSM6DSV16X Micro 6DoF IMU Breakout with Qwiic compatibility. Created by STMicroelectronics, the LSM6DSV16X is a high-performance, energy-efficient 6-axis Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU). It incorporates a 3-axis digital accelerometer and a 3-axis digital gyroscope. This IMU boasts a triple core design that efficiently processes acceleration and angular rate data across three distinct channels: user interface, OIS, and EIS. Each channel is equipped with dedicated configuration, processing, and filtering capabilities. Despite its compact size, measuring 0.3 inches by 0.75 inches, this accelerometer, with its Qwiic Micro footprint, is suitable for integration into a wide array of compact projects.

The LSM6DSV16X's triple core configuration empowers edge computing processes. It capitalizes on embedded advanced features including a configurable motion tracking finite state machine (FSM) and a machine learning core (MLC) that facilitates contextual awareness. This MLC also offers exportable AI features tailored for IoT applications.
