Description
Compute Module 4 IoT Router Carrier Board Mini is an internet expansion board based on the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4. When connected to a gigabit network card via PCI-e, it provides Raspberry Pi CM4 with two full-speed gigabit network ports, offering better performance, lower CPU usage, and higher stability for long-term use compared to a USB network card. Despite its small size of 55 x 62mm, the board retains the characteristic GPIO pin header of Raspberry Pi, allowing for the connection of other actuators, sensors, and smart cooling fans. There is also a USB2.0 interface that can be used to connect to mobile hard drives, printers, WiFi modules, LTF modules, and more.
Compute Module 4 IoT Router Carrier Board Mini comes with the OpenWRT open-source router system, which can be easily set up as a router. It is also compatible with Raspberry OS, Ubuntu Server, and other Raspberry Pi systems. The powerful performance of the BCM2711 4-core 1.5GHz Cortex-A72 processor and the rich software support in the Raspberry Pi community make this board a strong foundation for building high-performance gateways, smart routers, and home IoT platforms. It can also be connected to peripherals and used as a mini-NAS, wireless network bridge, or LTE internet terminal.
