The DYP Sensor H03 is a commercial-grade ultrasonic range-finder module designed specifically for height measurement applications, including human-body height measurement and level-distance sensing. It uses a 40kHz ultrasonic transducer paired with a high-performance processor to deliver stable, repeatable distance readings across a 3-250cm range.
The H03 is built around reliability and long-term accuracy. An on-board temperature compensation function automatically corrects for thermal deviation, maintaining stable ranging across an operating temperature range of -10C to +50C. This makes the module well-suited for real-world deployments where ambient temperature fluctuates across the day or across seasons.

With a 3cm dead-band for flat objects and a measurement accuracy of 1cm at room temperature, the H03 provides millimetre-class resolution for height-critical use cases such as intelligent altimeters and hand-held height measurement instruments. The stable detection range for human-head height measurement is 10-120cm, optimised for upright standing-height detection in medical, fitness, and access-control systems.
The module communicates over a UART interface, simplifying integration with microcontrollers and embedded systems. Electrostatic protection on all I/O pins, compliant with IEC 61000-4-2, ensures the module operates reliably in environments with electrostatic discharge risk.
