High Precision GP8630N 16-Bit DAC Module with I2C & PWM Input for ±10V, 0-10V, 0-5V and 4-20mA Industrial Signal Conversion
The Gravity GP8630N 16-bit DAC module is a versatile digital-to-analog converter designed to bridge microcontrollers with industrial-grade analog systems. Built around the GP8630N chip, this module converts I2C or PWM input signals into precise analog outputs including ±10V, 0–10V, 0–5V, and 4–20mA. Its high-resolution 16-bit architecture ensures fine-grained signal control, making it suitable for applications such as robotics, automation systems, process control, and instrumentation where accuracy and stability are critical.
Engineered for flexibility and reliability, the GP8630N DAC module supports seamless integration with platforms like Arduino, ESP32, and Raspberry Pi. It enables users to control industrial equipment such as actuators, valves, inverters, and variable-speed drives directly from digital systems. The Gravity interface simplifies wiring, while the robust design ensures consistent performance in demanding environments, making it an ideal solution for advanced analog signal generation in embedded and industrial applications.
Key Features
Bidirectional Control with ±10V Symmetrical Output
This 16-bit DAC module produces a symmetrical ±10V output, unlike traditional DACs that only offer positive voltage ranges. This capability enables direct control of bidirectional devices without requiring complex external bridge circuits. For example, in servo motor applications, a +10V signal can drive forward rotation, a -10V signal can enable reverse rotation, and a 0V signal can activate a stop, considerably simplifying the hardware design for motor drive systems and valve actuators.
Flexible Integration and Wide Compatibility
This I2C/PWM DAC module is designed for broad interoperability and works easily with both 3.3V and 5V logic levels. The dual-mode input capability enables interoperability with a diverse range of microcontrollers. Users can simply include this device into applications that require Arduino for rapid prototyping, ESP32 for IoT-connected industrial nodes, or Raspberry Pi for complicated computing operations. Furthermore, the capability for 8 programmable I2C addresses allows several units to cascade, allowing up to 8 devices to be controlled at the same time on a single bus.
