The Geiger counter is a device that is specifically designed to detect ionizing radiation, such as nuclear radiation, X-rays, and cosmic rays. It is not able to detect electromagnetic radiation, such as the radiation emitted by microwave ovens, mobile phones, WiFi devices, and induction cookers.
