Description
This encoder switch looks like a potentiometer, but it is actually a 360° rotary encoder with 20 pulses per revolution. Each pulse corresponds to a detent, and there are LED lights at each detent to allow users to see the real-time status of the encoder.
The module is designed with I2C data output and configurable accuracy within 1 to 51 detents (set in the program). For example, if the accuracy is set to 1, one LED light will turn on after rotating 2.5 revolutions; if it is set to 51, one LED light will turn on after rotating one detent.
The encoder also has a cascade function that allows it to control multiple output devices using only one I2C interface, such as simultaneously controlling light brightness, color, volume, and speed. This makes it versatile and suitable for a variety of applications.
