Ratiometric Linear Hall Effect Sensor With Analog Output For Precision Position And Magnetic Field Sensing

The DRV5055A4QLPGM is a high-performance linear Hall effect sensor designed to provide accurate analog output proportional to magnetic flux density. The sensor enables precise position sensing, displacement measurement, and magnetic field monitoring in industrial, automotive, and consumer electronics applications. With a ratiometric output architecture, the device delivers highly accurate measurements while minimizing the effects of supply voltage variations when paired with ADCs using the same voltage reference.

Operating from either a 3.3 V or 5 V power supply, the DRV5055A4QLPGM produces an output voltage centered at half of VCC when no magnetic field is present. The output changes linearly as magnetic field strength varies, allowing accurate detection of both north and south magnetic poles. Integrated magnet temperature compensation ensures stable performance across a wide operating temperature range from -40 C to +125 C. The TO-92-3 through-hole package provides easy integration into a variety of sensing and control systems.
