The SS461A Magnetic Switch Bipolar Hall Effect Sensor is a high-performance magnetic sensing device designed for accurate speed measurement, position detection, and motor control applications. Built with a quad Hall IC architecture, the sensor minimizes the effects of mechanical stress, ensuring stable and repeatable operation in demanding environments. Its bipolar magnetic switching characteristic enables reliable detection of alternating magnetic poles, making it suitable for rotational sensing and commutation systems.
The sensor features temperature-compensated magnetic circuitry that maintains consistent performance across a wide operating temperature range from -40 C to +150 C. With a broad supply voltage range of 3.8 VDC to 30 VDC and a digital open-collector output, the SS461A offers excellent flexibility for integration into industrial, transportation, and medical equipment. The TO-92-3 through-hole package provides easy installation and dependable long-term operation in a wide variety of magnetic sensing applications.
