Banana Pi BPI-M4 Zero Ultra-Compact SBC with Allwinner H618, LPDDR4, eMMC and Dual-Band Wi-Fi Support
The Banana Pi BPI-M4 Zero is an ultra-compact single-board computer and successor to the BPI-M2 Zero, offering a significant upgrade in processing, memory, and storage capabilities. It is powered by the Allwinner H618 quad-core Arm Cortex-A53 processor and integrates an Arm Mali-G31 GPU for graphics and multimedia workloads. Depending on the configuration, the board provides 2 GB or 4 GB LPDDR4 memory together with 8 GB or 32 GB eMMC flash storage, making it suitable for embedded computing, IoT, automation, and compact development projects.
The BPI-M4 Zero maintains a Raspberry Pi Zero W-style form factor and 40-pin connector, allowing compatibility with many Zero W cases and accessories. Wireless capability depends on the installed module: the K019 option supports 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi with Bluetooth 5.0, while the K016 option provides Wi-Fi 4 and does not support 5 GHz Wi-Fi. Connectivity includes Mini HDMI 2.0a, 2 x USB 2.0 Type-C interfaces, and a 24-pin FPC connector exposing USB 2.0 and 100 Mbps Ethernet, providing flexible expansion for space-constrained embedded systems.
