7Semi SCD43 High-Accuracy CO2, Temperature and Humidity Sensor Breakout with I2C and Qwiic
The 7Semi SCD43 CO2, Temperature and Humidity Sensor Breakout is designed for indoor air-quality monitoring, ventilation control, smart-building systems, and connected environmental sensing. It uses the Sensirion SCD43, which combines PASens photoacoustic NDIR CO2 measurement with integrated temperature and relative-humidity sensing. The sensor provides a CO2 output range of 0–40,000ppm, with specified CO₂ measurement accuracy of +-(30ppm + 3% of reading) across the 400–5,000ppm specified measurement range.
The breakout communicates over I2C at the fixed 7-bit address 0x62 and supports automatic self-calibration (ASC), forced recalibration (FRC), periodic measurement, and single-shot measurement modes. The board accepts 3.6–5.5V through VCC and provides Qwiic connectivity for convenient integration with compatible controllers. When powered through VCC, the 3V3 pin provides a regulated 3.3V output rated up to 200mA; alternatively, the board can be powered directly through 3V3. VCC and 3V3 must not be powered simultaneously.
