Description

The 7Semi BME680 Sensor Probe with plastic enclosure is cost effective probe for non-condensing indoor environments. This BME680 sensor probe communicates through I2C inteface. The 7Semi BME680 Sensor Probe incorporates Bosch Sensortec BME680 sensor within a plastic enclosure which will protect the sensor and extend its service life. A one meter 4-wire cable is attached with the probe for I2C communication and power supply (1.7V to 3.6V). The BME680 is a digital 4-in-1 sensor with gas, humidity, pressure and temperature measurement based on proven sensing principles.

The gas sensor within the BME680 can detect a broad range of gases to measure indoor air quality for personal well being gases that can be detected by the BME680 include: Volatile Organic Compounds (Voc) from paints (such as formaldehyde), lacquers, paint strippers, cleaning supplies, furnishings, office equipment, glues, adhesives and alcohol. With excellent long-term stability and sensitivity, it can be widely applied in agriculture, soil, egg incubator, HVAC, weather stations, test & measurement, automation, medical and pharma, humidifiers etc.

The probe connector is Mini Round Shell Plastic type and wire length is 1 meter.
