The DYS WU 2206 1750KV is the lower-KV, higher-voltage variant in the DYS WU 2206 motor range, sharing the same 2206 stator platform and lightweight construction of the 2400KV variant while shifting the optimal operating voltage range upward from 3-4S to 4-6S LiPo. The 2206 stator designation indicates a 22mm stator diameter and 6mm stator height, a compact stator geometry that provides competitive power density and a lightweight motor body suited to 5-inch and 6-inch propeller FPV racing and freestyle quadrotor builds where the wider 4-6S voltage range of the 1750KV variant gives pilots and builders flexibility to choose between the higher current, lower resistance power delivery of 4S and the increased voltage headroom, reduced per-watt current draw, and improved efficiency of 5S and 6S LiPo systems on the same motor without requiring a motor swap when changing battery cell count. The 1750KV rating on a 2206 stator positions this motor directly in the performance band occupied by the DYS SUNFUN 2306 1750KV at the same KV, but the 2206 stator's 1mm shorter height and corresponding marginally lower torque ceiling make the WU 2206 1750KV the lighter and more compact option between the two for pilots who prioritise minimum motor weight over maximum low-end torque headroom.
The 4-6S voltage range of the WU 2206 1750KV makes it particularly well-suited to the growing adoption of 5S and 6S power systems in the 5-inch FPV racing and freestyle community, where the combination of reduced winding resistance losses, lower current draw per unit of thrust, and improved efficiency at cruise throttle settings provides measurable benefits in motor temperature, ESC thermal loading, and run-time on equivalent capacity batteries compared to 3S and 4S systems at the same power output. On 4S, the 1750KV delivers an RPM-to-voltage ratio suited to standard 5-inch propeller diameters and pitches in the 45 to 51 pitch-diameter range. On 5S and 6S, the 1750KV allows the use of lower-pitch propellers selected specifically for the higher input voltage, maintaining thrust output while reducing the current demanded from the battery and ESC at equivalent throttle positions.
