Portable Battery Expansion Chassis With Grove Connectivity For Wio Terminal Development Projects
The Wio Terminal Chassis with 650mAh Battery is a compact expansion enclosure designed to enhance the portability and functionality of the Wio Terminal development board. Equipped with a built-in rechargeable lithium-polymer battery, this chassis provides reliable external power for portable IoT, embedded-system, and edge-computing applications. The integrated ABS enclosure offers added protection and improved aesthetics while maintaining easy access to the WiO Terminal interfaces and expansion capabilities.
This battery chassis also expands connectivity through multiple Grove ports, enabling simplified integration with Grove sensors, actuators, and communication modules without soldering or jumper wiring. With USB Type-C charging support, onboard battery fuel gauge, overcurrent protection, and hidden magnetic mounting support, the chassis is well-suited for portable monitoring systems, smart-home devices, educational projects, industrial prototyping, and rapid IoT development.
