Two-Way 30A No-Brake Brushed Electronic Speed Controller for RC Car, Boat, and Tank - Forward and Reverse, 5V 1A BEC, 2S LiPo and 4-7 Cell NiMH for 130 to 380 Brushed Motors
The Two-Way 30A No-Brake Brushed Electronic Speed Controller is a compact, lightweight speed controller designed for small-scale RC cars, boats, and tanks in the 1/16, 1/18, and 1/24 scale classes, providing bidirectional forward and reverse motor control for brushed motors from the 130 through to 380 can-size range without a braking function, suited to platforms where smooth speed transitions rather than active motor braking are the preferred operational characteristic. At 23 x 21 x 6mm and 9 grams, this ESC occupies minimal space and weight within the tight chassis and hull enclosures typical of 1/18 and 1/24 scale RC vehicles and micro watercraft, making it a practical drop-in speed controller for small-scale brushed motor platform builds and replacements where the physical size of the ESC is a significant installation constraint.
The ESC supports both 2S LiPo and 4-7 cell NiMH and NiCd battery configurations, covering the two most common battery chemistries used in small-scale RC cars, boats, and tanks without requiring a chemistry-specific ESC variant. The integrated 5V / 1A BEC supplies regulated power to the RC receiver directly from the ESC, eliminating the need for a separate receiver battery or BEC module in the vehicle power system. An 8K PWM input signal frequency and 2KHz controller switching frequency provide smooth, responsive throttle control across the forward and reverse operating range, and the PPM signal interface ensures direct compatibility with standard 2-channel RC transmitter and receiver setups used across the 1/16 to 1/24 scale RC vehicle and boat market. The constant current rating of 10A with a 30A peak capacity for bursts under 5 seconds reflects the typical motor draw profile of 130-380 class brushed motors in small-scale RC platforms, where brief acceleration spikes exceed the sustained cruising current demand.
