Description

This Raspberry Pi LED Matrix Expansion Board is designed to support any revision of Raspberry Pi and is directly pluggable. It features an onboard 8x8 RGB LED (WS2812B) and comes with a manual and development resources, including examples in Python and Web control. The control pin is configurable via jumpers (0 ohm resistor), and the board has break-out control pins, which makes it easy to work with other MCUs. The board has an operating voltage of 5V and a data rate of 800Kbps(typ). It has an adjustable brightness to 256 levels and a color depth of 24-bit true color (8-bit for R/G/B respectively, totally 256x256x256=16777216 colors). The board has a dimension of 65mm x 56.2mm and a mounting hole size of 3.0mm.
