Linear Hall Effect Magnetic Sensor With High Accuracy Ratiometric Output For Position And Current Sensing
The SS495A Linear Hall Effect Magnetic Sensor is a versatile magnetic sensing device designed for precise measurement of magnetic fields in industrial, automotive, and control applications. Featuring a ratiometric analogue output, the sensor produces an output voltage proportional to the strength of the applied magnetic field, making it suitable for position sensing, current monitoring, displacement measurement, and motion control systems. The sensor responds to both positive and negative Gauss, enabling detection of either magnetic pole for greater design flexibility.
Built with an advanced quad Hall sensing element, the SS495A minimizes the effects of mechanical and thermal stress to deliver stable and repeatable performance. Integrated temperature compensation and laser-trimmed thin-film resistors provide excellent accuracy, enhanced sensitivity, and reliable operation across a wide temperature range from -40 C to +150 C. Rail-to-rail output capability maximizes usable signal range, making the sensor well-suited for high-accuracy magnetic field measurement in demanding environments.
