The SparkPNT GNSS Flex Module – mosaic-X5 is a compact, modular plug-in board featuring the powerful Septentrio mosaic-X5 GNSS receiver, designed for high-precision navigation, timing, and geolocation. Compatible with the SparkPNT GNSS Flex ecosystem, this module connects through dual 2×10-pin headers for USB, four UARTs, I2C, SD card, PPS, and event signals, ensuring a highly versatile setup. It also features an additional 20-pin header for accessing the mosaic-X5 Ethernet PHY, providing extended connectivity options. With multi-band and multi-constellation support, including GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, NavIC, QZSS, SBAS, and L-band, the module achieves exceptional RTK accuracy of 6mm horizontal and 1cm vertical and timing precision of 5ns. Septentrio’s AIM+ interference mitigation and anti-spoofing technology ensures robust, reliable performance in challenging environments. Users can access the receiver via its integrated web server through USB or Ethernet, or configure it using the command-line interface for advanced control. The module requires an external active GNSS antenna, supported via U.FL or SMA (via carrier board), making it suitable for advanced applications in surveying, robotics, precision agriculture, geospatial analysis, and timing-critical IoT deployments.
