Description
An automatic GPS logger as well as a variety of pressure, humidity, and distance sensors are preprogrammed into the SparkFun DataLogger IoT data logger. All of this without writing even a single line of code! Qwiic sensor detection, configuration, and logging are done automatically using the DataLogger. The purpose of its design was to cater to customers who just want to gather a large amount of data into a CSV or JSON file and proceed with their more complex project. This data can be wirelessly sent to your favourite Internet of Things (IoT) provider or saved to a microSD card!
No integrated IMU is present in this DataLogger IoT. This version is still capable of auto-detecting and logging more than a dozen GNSS receivers and sensors. Set the DataLogger IoT to capture readings from compatible devices, turn it on, and start logging! A time stamp can be applied to data when it is synchronised with NTP, GNSS, or RTC.
Via a simple serial interface, the DataLogger IoT offers extensive configurability. Just start a serial terminal at 115200 baud and plug in a USB-C cable. Both the microSD card and the terminal receive the logging output in an automated fashion. Open the setup menu by pressing any key in the terminal window.
