the SparkFun CO2 Humidity and Temperature Sensor, equipped with the advanced SCD40 photoacoustic CO2 sensor for highly precise environmental measurements. The SCD40 employs Sensirion's cutting-edge PASens photoacoustic measurement mechanism, which combines focused infrared (IR) light and an integrated microphone within the sensor package. This enables the sensor to accurately detect CO2 concentrations ranging from 0 to 40000 ppm. Exceptional accuracy is maintained particularly within the 400-2000 ppm range, with a deviation of only +-(50 ppm+5%).

Enhancing its precision further, the SCD40 incorporates a built-in CMos sensor for temperature and humidity readings. Moreover, the sensor is engineered to accept ambient pressure inputs, contributing to its comprehensive accuracy. All of these impressive capabilities are packaged in our standardized 1in. x 1in. Qwiic form factor, ensuring effortless integration into your Qwiic-based projects. However, to accommodate user preferences, the I2C signals have been extended to a set of pins spaced at 0.1in. intervals for those who opt for a soldered connection.
