FAQs:

Q: What are the specific environmental parameters measured by the SparkFun Environmental Combo Breakout?

A: The breakout board measures equivalent carbon dioxide (eCO2), total volatile organic compounds (TVOCs), barometric pressure, humidity, and temperature.

Q: Which sensors are integrated into the breakout board to measure these parameters?

A: The breakout board combines the CCS811 sensor for eCO2 and TVOCs measurements with the BME280 sensor for barometric pressure, humidity, and temperature measurements.

Q: How does the CCS811 sensor utilize data from the BME280 sensor?

A: The CCS811 sensor can leverage the humidity and temperature data from the BME280 sensor to fine-tune its eCO2 and TVOCs readings for increased accuracy.

Q: What communication interface does the breakout board use?

A: The breakout board exclusively utilizes the I2C communication interface through the Qwiic connect system for convenient and simplified connections.

Q: Are there any software libraries or resources available to facilitate the use of the breakout board?

A: SparkFun provides Arduino libraries and example code for both the CCS811 and BME280 sensors, making it easier to integrate the breakout board into your projects and access the environmental data.
