The Industrial RS485 Water Electrical Conductivity Sensor is a high-precision water quality monitoring solution designed for continuous measurement of electrical conductivity in industrial, environmental, agricultural, and water treatment applications. Featuring an integrated probe and housing design, the sensor provides reliable conductivity measurements while simplifying installation and deployment. With an electrode constant of K=1, a measurement range of 1 to 2000μS/cm, a resolution of 0.1μS/cm, and an accuracy of ±1%FS, it delivers dependable real-time water quality data for professional monitoring systems.
Beyond conductivity measurement, the sensor incorporates intelligent conversion algorithms that simultaneously output salinity, TDS, and temperature values, providing comprehensive 4-in-1 water quality analysis. Automatic Temperature Compensation (ATC) ensures measurement accuracy across varying environmental conditions, while the RS485 ModBus-RTU communication interface enables seamless integration with PLCs, industrial controllers, IoT gateways, SCADA systems, Arduino platforms, and remote monitoring networks. Factory calibration and the included 1413μS/cm calibration solution allow immediate deployment and simplified maintenance.

Applications

The electrical conductivity sensor features an RS485 communication interface and supports the ModBus-RTU protocol. Tutorials are supplied for connecting the sensor to Arduino development boards and DFRobot LoRaWAN, which allows for easy deployment of a test environment and real-time data monitoring. A built-in temperature sensor automatically compensates for temperature changes, resulting in precise and dependable data output under different environmental situations.

The electrical conductivity sensor is rigorously calibrated before leaving the factory and is ready for immediate use without additional calibration. It also has a conductivity calibration solution, which allows users to immediately adjust measurement accuracy after extended usage via register settings. With an overall waterproof certification of IP68, it may be submerged in water for long periods of time, making it ideal for aquaculture, tap water monitoring, drinking water treatment, hydroponics, and agricultural irrigation.
