Description

To get you started with ultra-low power applications, MSP-EXP430FR5994 Launchpad kit is on your desk , featuring ULP(Ultra Low Power) hardware configuration inside a 16 bit  high performance MSP430FR5994 Microcontroller running up to speed of 16 MHz. The controller features the MSP ULP FRAM (Ferroelectric Random Access Memory) which is a high endurance and super-fast non-volatile RAM. The board has plenty of embedded devices to support user's multivariate target applications with the devices like Micro SD Card Holder, Super Capacitor for enabling standalone applications running without board power, user programmable LEDs and buttons etc. Programming of the board is facilitated by the on board debugger.

The board has adequate memory and processing speed for easy and fast rapid prototyping work including 256KB FRAM, 8 KB SRAM and peripherals include ADCs, Timers etc. backup by a new technology feature of low energy accelerator which allows user to design vector maths build application very fast and efficiently. A fast and easy prototyping facility is more cultivated by additional 40 pin boosterpack input headers. The board has micro-B USB connector for PC connection and a set of Tools and IDE are provided for making the application design experience more rich and powerful.
