The micro: Driver Expansion Board is a versatile control and expansion platform designed for BBC micro, UNIHIKER M10, and K10 development boards. It significantly expands the capabilities of these controllers by providing access to onboard GPIO resources along with integrated motor and servo control functions. The board features 9 GPIO expansion interfaces, 4 DC motor drive channels, and 8 servo interfaces, enabling users to build robotics, automation systems, educational projects, and interactive devices with minimal wiring and programming complexity.

Powered by an I2C motor and servo control architecture, the expansion board uses only two I2C pins while retaining valuable GPIO resources for sensors and peripherals. The integrated HR8833 motor driver supports continuous operating currents up to 1.5A and can drive small DC motors, N20 metal gear motors, and stepper motors through its configurable motor outputs. DFRobot Gravity interfaces are provided for both GPIO and servo connections, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of sensors and modules. Multiple power input options, including DC barrel jack, screw terminal, and USB-to-DC adapter support, provide flexibility for portable and educational applications.
