The M5Stack A071 485T is a compact T-shaped connector designed to simplify RS485 bus expansion in industrial and embedded communication systems. It allows a single RS485 connection to branch into two additional directions, making it suitable for point-to-point and point-to-multipoint wiring without requiring a separate active communication hub.

The connector uses 4-pin 3.96 mm terminal blocks compatible with several M5Stack RS485 products, including PLC, PLC-M12, Base26, and Hat RS485. A red onboard power LED provides visual power-status indication, while an internal DIP switch allows the termination resistor to be manually enabled or disabled according to the RS485 network topology. Its passive design requires no firmware or configuration.
