Compact M5StampS3A IoT Development Kit with BMI270 IMU, Microphone, RTC, microSD and 250 mAh Battery
The M5Stack Capsule Kit v1.1 is a compact, integrated IoT and embedded-development platform upgraded with the M5StampS3A main controller. It combines motion sensing, audio acquisition, infrared control, data storage and battery-powered operation within a single portable system. The onboard BMI270 IMU provides motion and attitude sensing for tracking-oriented applications, while the SPM1423 microphone supports audio recording, voice-recognition and voice-wake-up projects. An integrated infrared sensor further enables compatible remote-control and smart-terminal applications.
For portable and low-power projects, Capsule v1.1 includes a built-in 250 mAh battery and supports an external expansion battery for extended operating requirements. A microSD card slot provides removable storage for sensor logs, audio files, and application data, while the RTC8563 real-time clock supports accurate timekeeping and timed wake-up. The integrated buzzer provides audible status feedback, and the Proto pin-header interface allows custom sensors and expansion circuits to be added. Four built-in magnets and 2 M3 mounting holes provide flexible magnetic or screw-fixed installation.
