GNSS All-Band High Precision Antenna – 5m (SMA): Multi-Constellation Accuracy with Robust Performance

The u-blox ANN-MB2 GNSS All-Band High Precision Antenna is an active multi-band solution designed for applications requiring centimeter-level accuracy, RTK support, and reliable positioning in challenging environments. Covering L1, L2, L5, E6, and B3 frequency bands, this antenna delivers excellent signal gain, efficiency, and polarization for precise multi-constellation tracking. With a 5m RG-174 cable (SMA connector), it ensures flexible integration into high-precision navigation, surveying, robotics, and industrial IoT applications.

Engineered to pair seamlessly with u-blox ZED-F9K, ZED-F9P, ZED-F9T, LEA-F9T, and ZED-X20P platforms, the ANN-MB2 accelerates development and deployment by offering a ready-to-use, mass-market optimized design. Its robust housing, low noise figure LNAs, and out-of-band rejection filters guarantee signal stability even in interference-prone environments.

Key Features:

  • All-Band GNSS Coverage: Supports L/L1, L2, L5, E6, and B3 frequency bands for high-precision positioning.

  • High-Performance Gain: Typical gain – L (5.4 dBic), L1 (5.0 dBic), L2 (5.0 dBic), L5 (4.5 dBic), E6 (4.2 dBic).

  • Efficiency: Up to 64% (L band) ensuring robust signal reception.

  • Axial Ratio (Zenith): 0.5–1.3 dB for L/L1 band, 1.9–2.9 dB for L5/L2/B3/E6 bands.

  • Polarization: RHCP (Right-Hand Circular Polarization) for GNSS compatibility.

  • Low-Noise Amplifiers (LNAs):

    • L/L1 band: 31.0 3 dB gain, 3 dB noise figure

    • L5/L2/B3/E6 band: 31.5 3 dB gain, 2.5 dB noise figure

  • Total Gain: Approx. 23 dB with cable loss included.

  • Out-of-Band Rejection: Excellent filtering for cellular bands (up to 65 dB at 698 MHz).

  • Cable: 5m RG-174 with SMA connector for flexible mounting.

  • Supply Requirements: 3.0–5.0 VDC, ~15 mA typical.

  • Applications: RTK positioning, surveying, UAVs, robotics, precision agriculture, and industrial IoT.
