The VL6180X Time of Flight Ranging Sensor from STMicroelectronics incorporates the company's FlightSense™ technology, which enables accurate distance measurement regardless of the reflectivity of the target. While the sensor is designed to measure distances ranging from 5-100mm, it can provide readings of up to 200mm in optimal conditions. Additionally, the VL6180X features an ambient light sensor, making it a comprehensive solution for both proximity ranging and ambient light level measurement.
