The Fermion MEMS Microphone Module S15OT421 is a compact audio sensing breakout designed for sound detection, voice acquisition, and waveform analysis applications. Featuring a high-sensitivity MEMS microphone and an integrated amplifier with a gain of 66, the module converts acoustic signals into analog voltage outputs that can be easily sampled by microcontrollers through an ADC input. Its compact size and stable performance make it suitable for portable, embedded, and IoT-based audio projects.

When no sound is present, the module outputs a stable voltage of approximately 1.5V. As sound is detected, the output voltage varies according to the audio waveform, allowing developers to capture voice signals, monitor sound intensity, or perform basic audio analysis. Compatible with both 3.3V and 5V systems, the module can be directly connected to Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi Pico, STM32, and other development platforms for sound-responsive applications.
