The Fermion MEMS H2 and NOx Gas Detector Breakout is an industrial-grade gas sensing module designed for detecting hydrogen and nitrogen oxide gases in safety-critical environments. Based on the MiCS-2714 MEMS gas sensor, the module monitors H2 from 1 ppm to 1000 ppm and NOx from 0.05 ppm to 10 ppm, making it suitable for chemical plants, manufacturing sites, laboratories, and industrial monitoring systems.
The sensor provides a 0V to 5V analog output proportional to gas concentration, allowing easy integration with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, PLCs, and other microcontroller-based systems. With low-power 0.45W operation, enable and disable pin control, and stable performance across -30 C to +85 C and up to 95% RH non-condensing humidity, the module is well-suited for harsh-environment gas detection and continuous safety monitoring applications.
