The 7Semi PT1000 RTD temperature sensor probe uses a CRZ platinum thin-film resistance temperature detector for stable and repeatable measurement. It has a nominal resistance of 1000 ohm at 0 C and a temperature coefficient of resistance (TCR) of 0.003851. The sensor is built to JIS C 1604-1997 and IEC 751-1983 standards, with Class A performance over the -40C to 300C range.

The probe has a 6 mm OD x 2-inch long metal sheath, a 2-inch heat-shrink section and a 1 m Teflon cable with a 2-wire connection. The sealed construction suits wet and humid locations, and the Teflon cable handles heat and chemical exposure well. It fits easily into heaters, pipes, tanks, ovens and test setups where a compact, high-resistance RTD probe is needed.
