7Semi XT60 Smoke Stopper with Dual Resettable PPTC Protection for Safe First Power-Up Testing
The 7Semi Amass XT60 Smoke Stopper is a compact protection and circuit-testing module designed for the first power-up of FPV drones, RC vehicles, robotics systems, and other battery-powered electronics. Installed between an XT60-equipped battery and the device under test, it limits fault current during short circuits and wiring mistakes, helping reduce the risk of damage to ESCs, flight controllers, receivers, power-distribution boards, and other connected electronics.
The module uses two resettable PPTC protection devices rated at 0.5A and 1.1A and automatically recovers after an overcurrent condition is removed and the protection devices cool down. Integrated PWR and ERR LEDs provide visual operating and fault indication, while XT60 male and female connectors enable plug-and-play connection without additional wiring. The module operates from 3–33V DC and is specified for 3S–6S LiPo battery systems.
