The Traxxas Titan 775 (model 5675) is the largest and most powerful brushed motor offered by Traxxas, built on the 775 can platform at 46.4mm diameter and 67mm length with a 10-turn winding rated for 16.8V operation on 4S LiPo power systems. Designed for the most demanding off-road RC vehicle applications in the Traxxas ecosystem, the Titan 775 10T delivers extreme low-end torque and sustained power output for non-stop trail running, technical climbing, and high-load off-road driving where smaller 540 and 550 class brushed motors cannot maintain the sustained thermal and mechanical performance required. The 10-turn winding positions the Titan 775 at the aggressive, high-power, high-RPM end of the brushed motor spectrum relative to higher-turn alternatives, providing a power delivery characteristic suited to high-speed off-road bashing and trail driving on 4S power where raw power and pulling force are the primary performance requirements.
Three hardware features distinguish the Titan 775 from standard 775 platform motors in its class. The fan-cooled five-pole armature replaces the three-pole armature standard in most brushed motors with a five-pole design, reducing torque ripple, improving commutation smoothness across the RPM range, and providing more consistent power delivery under variable load conditions - directly relevant in technical off-road driving where motor load varies rapidly with terrain. The built-in cooling fan integrated into the armature assembly actively moves air through the motor can during operation, dissipating heat generated by the high-current 10-turn winding under sustained full-throttle and high-load conditions without relying solely on passive can cooling. An extra wrap of steel around the motor can increase the magnetic field strength beyond the standard single-wrap design, directly increasing the motor's torque output for a given current draw and contributing to the maximum-torque-per-frame-size performance characteristic that defines the Titan 775 within the Traxxas brushed motor lineup. The 5mm heavy-duty output shaft handles the high torque loads transmitted from the motor to the drivetrain without the shaft flex and fatigue risk associated with the 3.17mm shafts common in 540 class motors.
