Description

The buck converter module is based on the LM2596 3A step-down voltage regulator, which is a popular and reliable choice for this type of application.

One of the key features of this buck converter module is its digital display, which allows you to easily monitor the output voltage in real-time. This is a useful feature because it allows you to make precise adjustments to the output voltage without having to use a separate multimeter. You can change the output voltage by adjusting the screw potentiometer that is integrated onto the board.

This module can be used in a wide range of DC applications, including batteries, power transformers, DIY power supplies, and industrial equipment. It is capable of supporting an input voltage range of 0-40V DC with an accuracy of +-0.05V. It can be used to convert voltages such as 12V to 3.3V, 12V to 5V, 24V to 5V, 24V to 12V, and 36V to 24V, among others.

The on-board voltage meter also supports self-calibration mode, which allows you to calibrate it once and store the value automatically. This is done by holding the button for 4 seconds to enter input or output voltage calibration mode, and then using the button to adjust the value. Once you have finished calibrating, you can hold the button for 4 seconds again to exit calibration mode and save the parameters automatically.
